Leg Band Numbers
This is a chatgroup with a vast database of legband numbers, which is useful to trace a bird's breeder, find out some information about a rescue bird or found bird, etc. The owner is Lesa in Canada. There are some intesting articles. This link will give you more information about the site. You would need to join the chatgroup to use the resources.
Bird Endowment
The well-being of all birds -- especially parrots -- is Bird Endowment's passion. Their daily labor, however, is breaking the extinction vortex into which the Blue-throated macaw has been thrust. Have a look at these beautiful parrots.
Pet Expectations, LLC
Jill and Jim Anderson have a variety of pet products including Higgins parrot mixes and parrot toys. They offer pet sitter services in the Hooper area
Avian Fashions
Producers of "Flight suits" for your birds!  This delightful company donated several items to our club.  Besides the flight suits, they also make bird sized vests for those birds who choose to pluck.
The Windy City Parrot
A delightful and easy to navigate website offering all kinds of things for your Parrot; from food and toys to behavior and training.
All Creatures News Free Press of the Animal Nations.  Published by ink Sword, Inc.
The Nature Chest Bird Shop One of the few places I have found that carries Avian First Aid Kits.
Pretty Bird Has been very supportive of our efforts.  "Our Pretty Bird Division offers a full line of avian food products for your feathered friends."
The NetVet Bird Page This page deals exhaustively with birds, both parrots and farm birds. It doesn't have a lot of original information that I have discovered so far, but it has the most complete listing of bird sites and parrot sites I have found anywhere in cyberspace. If it is a bird site on the net, you can probably find it here.
The International Aviculturist Society

Deals more with breeding and conservation than most of the other pages listed, and also has a lot of disease/veterinary information.
Hagen Avicultural Research Institute Hagen is one of the best known and most respected names in aviculture, and they sell extremely useful neonate, weaning, and adult parrot food. This site deals with much more than just food, however, and there is much helpful breeding and infant feeding information.
Beakers Homepage/Howard Voren Articles This website has lots of parrot information, and is particularly helpful on grooming tips like trimming wings and nails. Also lots of breeding information, and articles by reknowned expert Howard Voren.
Flying Colors Aviaries This is an Oregon breeder's page, and I have a soft spot in my heart for them because they breed Green Cheek Conures, hopefully with less possessive and jealous qualities than that of my own Briseis, (the amazing colossal stinkbird). They also have created a fallow Green Cheek which is quite beautiful. This is a very professional page with lots of nice pictures, and not just of Green Cheeks!
The Aviary This is a very large and comprehensive parrot-oriented site. I have spent a lot of time exploring this page, and have still not found everything on it yet. One of the more useful sections gives a listing of virtually every important bird club in North America, so if you are looking for like-minded people in your neck of the woods, please give this site a whirl!
COMPANION PARROT Quarterly Sally Blanchard is unquestionably one of the supreme parrot behaviorists in world, and her magazine "The Pet Bird Report" is must reading for those who really care about birds. This is a wonderful site with many articles from the magazine, and special sections with many articles about cockatoos and greys. I urge everyone to visit this site, and to subscribe to this great magazine!
Parrot House This link goes directly to an article by Pamela Clark about Feather Abuse.
Majestic Macaws While there is lots of good general parrot information on this page, it is mostly macaw oriented. It has NUMEROUS links to other parrot sites as well. It also has a function to automatically add your own bird site to their lists, which is something I have never seen before.
Lafeber's This is a great site from a great company. I cannot say enough good things about Lafeber products! My first parrot was a conure who was an absolute seed junkie! I tried valiantly for months to get her to eat pellets, and I nearly had a nervous breakdown during the process. Her will was MUCH stronger than mine! Finally, I discovered some of the fine Lafeber parrot treats, specifically Avicakes and Nutriberries. Using these as "bridge foods," I finally got her onto pellets. My babies eat Lafeber products daily, and I unhesitatingly recommend them for everyone with birds in the home.  They support many important parrot groups and researchers, and I hope you will support them!
Parrot Jewelry A fun site with lots of Custom Parrot related items.
Parrot Society of Australia This is an elaborate site dedicated to Australian, and to a lesser extent New Zealandan, parrots. It has lots of articles about breeding and care of the local parrots, and information about upcoming parrot events. The part I found the most interesting was the comparative prices of parrots there. My little Green-Cheeked Conure, which I purchased for about $150 a few years ago, would be $2,500 in Australia, whereas my Bare-Eyed Cockatoo, which cost me $750 here, would cost a whole $50! Oh well.
The Foundation Dutch Parrot Refuge This is the homepage of the well-known Dutch refuge for unwanted parrots, which was featured in the PBS special "Look Who's Talking," which was so popular a few seasons ago. They do wonderful work, and can always use some donations. In particular I am including this link because they have translated their materials into Dutch, German, French, and English. I think I should note that their English section is acceptable, but the usage is hardly idiomatic. Perhaps someone can volunteer their editing skills as well!
The Bird Hotline This page is wonderful and long overdue! It is a clearinghouse for information on lost, stolen, or otherwise missing birds. PLEASE SUPPORT THIS SITE! It also has lots of good basic information, and good links to other bird sites as well.
Electronic Resources on Ornithology This is a very thorough list of the websites available that deal with birds of all kinds, with easy hypertext links to boot. Whatever you are looking for, you are likely to find it here.
Tracy Aviary The world famous Tracy Aviary is located right here in Salt Lake City at Liberty Park. We are extremely fortunate to have this facility so close, and the WAES works closely with Tracy Aviary on parrot issues, bird rescue, etc. This helpful site takes you on a tour of the aviary, gives tips on feeding and first aid for wild birds, and has a lot of useful general information about all birds, not just parrots.
Land of Vos What do you know about Eclectus Parrots? Would you like to know more? Have I got a website for you! Carolyn Swicegood has put together the ultimate website in honor of these extraordinarily beautiful birds. If you are not familiar with these wonderful and spectacularly attractive pets, you need to check this page out now!
Exotic Bird Rescue of Oregon If you live in the Oregon area and would like to join a bird club, this is the site for you!  We have spoken extensively with this club, and feel that our beliefs are similar.  They also have an extensive page with lots of other rescue organizations around the country, so if you're looking for an organization near you, this may have just the place.
Parrot Science This is a very large and fascinating site which covers just about everything you might need to know about your pet birds. There is a huge library of parrot articles, mostly of a scientific and scholarly bent, and links to anything you can imagine. A very well organized and professional site!
Birds and Lighting This is a very thorough and scholarly page dealing with the hot topic of optimum indoor lighting for birds. Birds need proper light in order to be fully healthy, and regular indoor lighting is inadequate for them. This website will give you the lowdown on how to keep your birds in peak health.
The Pet Medicine Chest This is a comprehensive page that gives nutrition and medical advice for all pets, not just birds. I was very impressed by the depth and breadth of the information posted.
The Too Lady I found this site, which is billed as "The Complete Bird Community," when someone told me I could get a free first-aid book here, which I wanted to investigate for the benefit of our members. I was surprised I had not heard of this site before, it is full of good articles and links, some serious, some silly, (but we like that also!) which emphasize Cockatoos and Macaws, but apply to all parrots as well.
Birds Australia A WONDERFUL wildlife site affiliated with Birdlife International. Lots of pictures and information about all the birds of Australia, and of course LOTS of parrot things also!
The California Parrot Project A website dedicated to the wild parrots of California. The state is home to many wild flocks of escaped pet birds, and this website will let you know where these flocks are, what they are, and give you the opportunity to report sightings.
The Association of Avian Veterinarians The AAV has been around for over 20 years, and its members are dedicated to the proper care of pet birds. This is their official website, and has lots of good information, in particular a SEARCH ENGINE FOR LOCAL AVIAN VETS! So if you move or are on vacation you can quickly find avian vets in your area. They also have a link to a PET POISON CONTROL CENTER.
Pets Welcome Suppose you want to go on vacation with your babies? Where will you stay, what hotels will allow pets, what if your bird gets sick? This website, Petswelcome.com, has it all for traveling! They have lists of hotels, emergency veterinarians, pet sitters, helpful hints for travelling, the works.
The Parrot Chronicles This is sort of a  newspaper for bird owners.
The Parrot Pages The best Pet Bird owner is an informed owner.  The Parrot Pages are here to provide information and a home for avian products, breeders, clubs, and organizations.
ZuPreem has been very good to our organization, several times donating items for our "raffle table".  I look forward to the care packages that come to my door, it's a little like Christmas.
Parrots Usenet Group This newsgroup is extremely helpful. I check on it often and post questions about my birds. Some very important and helpful people use this newsgroup to get out important parrot information. There are also occasional discussions of canaries and other cage birds, but it is 99% parrot oriented.
